The Squier Paranormal Series is a range of unique and quirky guitars, featuring altered specs, once-forgotten shapes and classic/vintage hybrids. The Paranormal Series was first released in 2020 as a limited edition run and has now become a permanent fixture in the Squier range due to their popularity. To celebrate their addition as one of Fender’s core ranges, Squier has introduced more retro finishes, making these guitars even cooler than they were before.
These budget-friendly models are great for those who want something more unique than the more traditional Squier offerings - plus they don’t cost a fortune!
The majority of the models in the Paranormal series have poplar bodies, or Poplar with an Ash top and back, comfortable C-shaped maple necks with a gloss finish, and string-through-body hardtail bridges or synchronised tremolo bridges. Squier has even thought of those that love more exotic woods, with the Offset Tele having the option of an Okoume body.
All the pickups in the Paranormal Series are designed by Fender, which means you’ll get high-quality pickups offering a wider tonal range that is normally found in much more expensive models. Quality is not compromised, making the Squier Paranormal range great for beginners and professionals alike.
